Rickroll by Phone - Overview

The internet phenomena of getting rickrolled started with the passing of cleverly disguised links to get people to click onto a link which led to a video of Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up". However, in recent time, rickrolling has evolved into various forms, including one where you can rickroll by phone. There are two general things that come to mind when talking about rickroll by phone:

1. Getting people to call a number which gets them rickrolled by phone

There are various websites on the internet that give you phone numbers for calling. If you get people to call those phone numbers, they'll get rickrolled!

2. Rickrolling someone who calls you

This is normally done by suddenly playing the music from "Never Gonna Give You Up" into the receiver of the person whom you are talking to . Most effective on telemarketers.

3. Rickroll by Phone - Twitter Style
